Greetings you guys! How have you been doing? Our apologies for not saying hi last weekend. My Mommy decided to start moving the house back to a livable state and we haven’t even opened the blog. Or a book for that matter. The plan was that all renovations should have been done on Friday so that we can start unpacking a bit more. Alas…. Not that it’s all that bad, it’s only a few minor things that are left and one major project – My Mommy’s brand new home library…. As you can see, only the one wall’s shelves are done, the back wall’s is at the carpenters, but the alcoves haven’t even been started with. *Sigh*. This was all she wanted from all the renovations and now everything is just about done, except for this room. I really don’t get people’s priorities. Shouldn’t the library have been the first project to complete?? But still, we are giving hope and faith a fair chance here. Greetings you guys! Oh how I’ve missed you!! I bet you’ve missed me terribly as well. I haven’t spoken to you guys in 3 whole weeks. Two weeks ago, my Mommy had to do The Sunday Post as I had my tail in a knot and refused to talk to her or Daddy for days. I honestly thought it would work and they would just give in and come begging for attention. But do you know what they did??? They packed and went on holiday. Can you believe that! I have to be honest, I got the fright of my life and thought they might never come back. Luckily they did and I will never, ever behave like the spoiled brat I am, again. They said they had a wonderful time in Mauritius. They brought us all some lovely presents and they enjoyed the island life tremendously. My Mommy says the only thing that she didn’t like, is all the stray animals. Cats and dogs alike. Greetings you guys! It’s May – it’s May – the lusty month of May! Whatever that may mean. At least we have some sunshine today, but otherwise it’s nothing by lusty here with us. Daddy has COVID and Mommy is terribly grumpy. She actually only had a two day work week and was looking forward to just reading and relaxing for a couple of days while Daddy takes control of the renovations and the contractors. Alas. Daddy is in isolation and Mommy is still doing the chicken run. Daddy is luckily not too sick and I’m rather more concerned about the grumpy chicken runner. So let’s rather not expect a lengthy Sunday Post, but just a quick recap of the last week. As you know, we are not very good with monthly wrap-ups, but we are very proud to say that we’ve managed 23 posts in April. Good grief. Not even I know how we’ve accomplished that. Greetings you guys! I trust you are all enjoying a wonderful Easter Weekend? My Mommy is terribly upset, her favorite easter eggs are nowhere to be found in our little town. Easter without you easter eggs just don’t feel right at all and something is definitely amiss. So now we spend our time reading, blogging and diamond painting. We had a very good week here on the blogosphere and my Mommy actually deserves those easter eggs. We didn’t even buy any new books or downloaded any for free. We also didn’t get any new ones for review, but that is also okay. We are just starting to gain control over our TBR and ARC lists. The only thing we don’t have control over, are the easter eggs. Greetings you guys! How are you all doing? I’m just quickly dropping in to say hi and that we miss you all! My Mommy has been on holidays (why can’t we scratch that anymore on WordPress?? Where’ that fun button that just drew a line through what you didn’t intend to say??) / break from school for about 10 days now and it’s been anything but a vacation… Remember a couple of months ago we told you about the renovations coming up at our house? Well, the renovations now turned into a full-scale building project of a rather extensive nature. Let’s make the garage double! Yes, let’s do that. Oh, while we’re at it, why not build an extra room attached to the garage? Yes! Let’s do it! Oh wait, the new garage can actually be a direct passage into the house. How awesome is that! The only thing we need to do, is add a new staircase. Wow! But wait! Seeing that the new staircase will be part of the garage, it needs to be in a fire-proof enclosed thingy. Whatever. No biggy, we can just as well turn the staircase in a little wine cellar then as well. […]
