The fun part of this Readathon is you get to pick what I should read.

Yes Hon – all you. And if you enjoy it so much, go and visit the other readothletes (a participant in a readathon is a ‘readothlete’) who have signed up and pick theirs as well. See, fun for everyone!

The Make Me Read It Readathon will start on July 9th and end on July 16th. Now that’s my part – I’ll do the reading. You just do the picking. I have selected 10 books that is currently on my TBR list and hope to read 5 of them during the upcoming Readathon. The top five books as voted for by you, will be on that list. The 10 books are:

  1. Hallo Julie! I'm definitely reading 84 Charing Cross Road for the Readathon. Will post my final list on Friday. Thanks for visiting and I will be hopping over to you now. Hope you have a lovely day!

    • It's been on my shelf for a couple of years (*hang head in shame*). So I am very excited to have it bumped up to the top ten again and finally read it! Thanks for visiting!

  2. My aunt loved 84 Charing Cross Road so that's why I choose it. Looking forward to reading it. Thanks for visiting and voting!

  3. My mom has been gushing about A Monster Calls for the last three months (she's an English Lit teacher, and I'm a writer, so we talk books a LOT)–I've been a bad daughter and haven't read it yet. Therefore, I think you should! 😀

    • Wha ha ha ha!! Will do. I've been looking forward to reading it for quite some time. What fun to have someone you can talk to about books ALL THE TIME. (As if we are not enough….). Thanks for visiting!

    • Hi Sofia! Thanks for visiting and I'm glad you like my list. It is only a drop in the endless ocean of TBR lists….. Luckily I will live to be a 117 so I can read them all.

    • A Monster Calls has been on my TBR list for ages. Might as well read it now…. Thanks for visiting and I'm quickly popping over to you.

  4. I am officially referring myself to a readothlete hahahahha. Also YES to A Darker Shade of Magic! That is one of my favorite series, so I will be voting for it 🙂

Thank you so much for joining!

    • Welcome fellow readothlete! And yes, our sport is just as important. We train just as hard (if not harder). For excited for this challenge!

Definitely read A Darker Shade Of Magic; the series is simply brilliant! Dark Places is interesting enough as well, and both Station Eleven and A Monster Calls are high on my wishlist. I hope you'll enjoy the readathon!
