Greetings you guys! It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday. Our favorite weekly blog hop and meme. This week’s prompt is Books With a Unit of Time In the Title (seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, eternity, etc.) (Submitted by RS @ The Idealistic Daydream)
Ha. This was easy. Just from the top of our heads, we came up with 24 books. Enough to fill a 24hour digital clock.
- The Time Traveler’s Wife (0:00)
- 4:50 from Paddington (01:00)
- A Time to Kill (02:00)
- One Hundred Years of Solitude (03:00)
- A Suffragette in Time (04:00)
- The 100 years of Leni and Margot (05:00)
- Time Stoppers (06:00)
- The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (07:00)
- The Seven Dials Mystery (08:00)
- A Wrinkle in Time (09:00)
- Last Time I Lied (10:00)
- Night-Time is my Time (11:00)
- Mr. Penumbra’s 24 Hour Book Shop (12:00)
- The Time Machine (13:00)
- The Evening and the Morning (14:00)
- Love in the Time of Cholera (15:00)
- The Remains of the Day (16:00)
- Leaving Time (17:00)
- Tuesdays with Morrie (18:00)
- The Absolute True Diary of a Part-Time Indian (19:00)
- End of Watch (20:00)
- A Tale for the Time Being (21:00)
- The Time Keeper (22:00)
- Just One Day (23:00)
We’ve actually read most of them. Apparently Time is a favorite topic for my Mommy.
Our creativity wasn’t at it’s highest this week, but I do love the graphic that my Mommy made and our Analog Time Keeper has 12 titles with the word Time in it. That’s how far our creativity stretch this week.
What time related books did you come up this week? Have you read any of ours?
Have a lovely Tuesday!
What a great idea to include the word “time”. I never thought of that. But I managed anyway.
My TTT on this topic.
awesome list and presentation!!
I read 6 of those,
I took the topic loosely: https://wordsandpeace.com/2022/06/07/top-ten-books-with-a-unit-of-time-in-the-title/
Hi Emma!
Yea, glad to hear my list had a few books that you’ve read as well and hopefully enjoyed!
[…] Top Ten Tuesday: It’s About Time […]
Go you! Way better than I did. 😉 Mine didn’t even match half of your number and while I wish I’d found more, I just had to make it work as is. Thanks so much, as always, for visiting Finding Wonderland.
Um, yeah, so your graphic is very creative!!! Great list, I really struggled this week. I have read a few of these. I think my list would have been easier if I had focused on a particular “time” word instead of a general search.
This TTT gave new meaning to the phrase “So many books, so little time”. LOL!
So sorry I only reply now Cindy, I have been trying to catch up on comments, but it appears to be a never ending struggle worse than my TBR.
Nice list and it was fairly easy. I also had The 100 years of Leni and Margot
Leni and Margot was such a lovely read! It was very popular in our book club as well. I had a lot of fun with this week’s theme.
A Wrinkle in Time! How did I forget that one!? haha. I love how you did 24 for the hours in the day. Although, it would have taken me so much longer to do!! Great job!
Hi Leslie!
I actually went as I typed along and didn’t really plan this very well! LOL!! I guess I just love timely books so much.
How did I not think of 4:50 to Paddington!!! It’s one of my favorites and Mr. Penumbra was a great listen though completely bizarre. Great list!
Somehow 4:50 from Paddington wasn’t my complete favorite. But then again, I don’t really have an Agatha Christie I didn’t like! Ha, I want to reread Mr. Penumbra. Maybe I should try on audible!
Mr. Penumbra’s was fun, and I want to read 4:50. You get the award for having 24 (!!!) picks. Love it!! 🙂
4:50 From Paddington wasn’t my favorite Christie, but it was still a good one. I need to reread Mr. Penumbra!
Thanks for the visit Greg!
I saw a train cover for 4:50 and it caught my eye. I’m so influenced by covers!
Wow you got so creative with this, I love it! I’ve read a few: I wasn’t a big fan of The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Nighttime but I did like The Time Traveler’s Wife and Leaving Time.
You are my favorite person!! Leaving Time is my favorite Jodi Picoult by far. Loved that book so much.
We always have fun with TTT and this week was loads of fun!
Using “time” was a great way to tackle this week’s topic. Great list!
Thanks Alicia!!
I was quite surprised to realize how many time books are out there and how many I have actually read.
Wow, this is super! Love that you got a 24-hour timeframe filled with books and also love the graphic!
Thanks Lindsey!
I actually surprised myself a bit here! LOL!!
Thanks for the visit.
Good job on coming up with so many. I was going to put The Time Traveler’s Wife and Nighttime is My Time, but I decided that “time” wasn’t a unit of time. Nighttime probably would’ve worked, though.
Time is the unit…! LOL!! Do you enjoy Mary Higgins Clark’s books?
Thanks for paying us a visit Jenni.
Lol. I know. I just interpreted it differently and made it hard on myself. Ha!
I used love Mary Higgins Clark. When I wasn’t much of a reader, I’d read one of her books every now and then. I stopped reading them after I read Two Little Girls in Blue because I really disliked it and decided her books were too formulaic for me. I still enjoy the other 16 books I read, though, especially her earlier ones.
Hi Jenni!
My sister has just about all the Mary Higgins Clark books, but I haven’t read them all and also find her earlier work much better than the later ones. I will still read one every now and then though.
Great job and I liked that list (6) that I have read. Cute pic Elza
Thanks Diane! Once again, great minds think alike….
Wow, great list! I’m impressed that you found so many books that fit. I had a hard time filling out this prompt with books from my shelves.
Hi Nicole!
Not all are from my shelves, a few are TBR’s! But okay yes, most are from my shelf. I guess I love timely books more than I realized!
I love the thought of timely books, but I guess the books I have around that theme don’t reflect the time in the title. I wonder if that’s a genre thing? I read a lot of science fiction and fantasy books these days.
Wow, you came up with a lot of answers. Good for you!
Hi Lydia!
Thanks! I actually thought this was a rather easy topic, but I guess I’ve just never realized just how much I love timely books. LOL!
Thanks for the visit!
That is a great take on this week’s theme

Thank you Anita!
And for the visit.
Wow! Twenty-four! Perfect!
And what a marvelous graphic!
Thanks Debbie!
Oh CANVA is my favorite toy at the moment! LOL!!
Fantastic list. I’m so impressed you were able to quickly find 24 books. And the execution is beautiful with the clock. I haven’t read any of these books, or I’d probably had an easier time with my list 😉
Have a great week 🌈
Hi there Rae!
I’ve actually never realized how many timely books I have read already. I obviously love the theme!
Thanks so much for visiting us and I hope you will enjoy the rest of your week.
Cool way to do this topic.
Thanks Sarita!
Always having fun with this.
That’s impressive! I struggled to find 10 and some of them stretch the theme a bit!!
I’ve seen Mr Penumbra’s 24 hour bookshop so I might have to investigate that one further!
Hope you have a great week!

Hi there Emily!
I’m due for a reread of Mr. Penumbra. I actually didn’t know myself that I obviously like books about time so much.
Thanks for the visit!
Love how you filled the whole 24 hours… so clever! And great graphic, too! 🙂
Thanks Tania! Had fun as always.
Wow! I struggled to get my ten, but you really blew this topic out the water! Well done! I think Mr. Penumbra’s 24 Hour Book Shop sounds really interesting.
Hi Louise!
Some topics tend to be easier than others and this ones was just so much fun for me!
